Whakapapa of New Zealand Haka

We wrote about the haka and I learnt that there are 16 haka´s. I enjoyed doing the film and it was kind of hard saying the words but I had some hlep from my group to say then. We found out so much of stuff about the haka. It is a war dance but you can use it at funerals and weddings

Summer Learning Journey Activity

 

This was my summer learning journey colouring book design. I really enjoyed creating this. I picked my favourite colours and clicked on the parts that I wanted coloured in. It was easy and fun to do.

Act it out

We were working reading plays and acting them out. In this play, we were acting out how to get rid of rubbish. I did not really enjoy acting because i dont like the spotlight on me.

Upcycled Pot Plant

This is my upcycled pot plant. First we picked an old bottle. I chose a milk bottle. Then we created a design to cut our bottle into. Then we used sandpaper to allow the paint to stick. Then we painted with two coats. Then we used PVA glue to sill it. and then we put soil in the bottom and placed a plant on top with more soil. It was our ag day project.

Fabric Art

 We dyed our fabrics in to different colours and we painting it and now you have this a beautiful picture. I enjoyed the painting after we dyed it. We had to wait for a couple of days.
